The Finnish National Gallery was officially founded in autumn 1990. It is Finland's largest museum entity and compromises the Ateneum Art Museum; Sinebrychoff Art Museum; the Museum of Contemporary Art; and the Central Art Archives; in addition the Conservation Department, the Educational Department, and the Administrative Department.
