Description:

History political exile museum was opened in December 1989.The first exposition was devoted to the history of politssylka in Bratsk and its region. Since1992 the exposition "The fates of Gulag prisoners" had been working until 1998. In 1998 this exposition was disbanded. Since 1999 temporary exhibitions such as: "Karpov family in the history of Bratsk", "Bratsk people - at the front and in the rear", "A pood of salt" and many others were exposed. Now the exhibition "Russians on the Angara River", devoting to 380 anniversary of Bratsk Ostroshny", is working
