Description:

The opening of Kotlasskiy Museum of Local Lore was in 1982. The museum's exposition tells about the ancient history of Kotlas, revolutionary events, Civil War, political repressions, Great Patriotic War and development of Kotlas in post-war period. The museum's collections: cloth, wood, metal, glass, documents, photo. Besides the museum has many various exhibitions: folk costume, samovars, decorative applied, skill, art exhibitions. The visitors can to ready books about history, skill, culture in museum's labrary and to acquaint oneself with museum's archhives
