Description:

The Exhibition complex "Vologda at the turn of the centuries" occupies three wooden houses. Firstly they were owned by the Vologda merchant - Samarin. The complex included a merchant house, a store, and a small inn. Nowadays there are several exhibitions here: "A Photo for Memory", "Traditions of the Russian table", "An Old School", "In the Samarin's House". There work studios of painting, embroidery and weaving in the former store. Museum visitors have an opportunity to take pictures in the interiors putting on old costumes
