Description:

The Boguchar State Natural History Museum is situated in St.Mary's Christmas church younded in 1862. There are 3 exibition halls in the museum. They exibit a great deal of material about the foundation of the Boguchar district, its culture regional mode of life, education, participation in the Great Patriotic war the Civil war, heroic work of the people in reconstruction of the economy of the district.

The most valueable thing in the museum is an enormus carpet with the exposition of the economical,cultural, educational development of the Boguchar district its famus people. It was created and presented to the museum by the outstanding Bjelorussian painter A. Kitschenko in 1981. This masterpiece is called "My native Land", because the artist was born in the Boguchar district.
