Description:

The memorial Museum of V.A.Rusanov was opened in 1982. It is devoted to the polar explorer and geologist Vladimir Aleksandrovich Rusanov. The Museum is placed in the house where Rusanov spent his childhood and youth. The exposition includes many interesting exhibits which tell us about Rusanov's life, his Arctic expeditions, his scientific activities and his tragic death. The people's life in the Russian North is presented in the ethnographical part of the Museum
