Description:
    The museum is one of 3 museums-centers studying kuping and ponagandizing tne events and memorisls of the Patriotie War of 1812. The unique displays books, documents reflecting the epoch of the begienning of the 19 th century are kept in the funds of the museum. The original displays are the Russian and French weapon, articles of equipement and uniform, numismatics, phalleristics, articles of military mod of life, military miniatures, paintings and drawings, of artists of the 19-20th centuries. All these allow to concieve better the course of the war and the meaning of the battle of Maloyaroslavets which was "the start of flight and destruction" of the Jreat Army of Napoleon.

    The Museum's exposition as well as the monuments and memorable places connected with the events of the Patriotic war of 1812 attract the visitors
