Samara Eparchial Museum of Russian Orthodox Church History was founded in 1997. Nowadays it is the only museum of this kind in Russia. The lay out of the museum consists of three parts: the first part is deooted to the history of Russian Orthodox Church in Samara Region, thr 2nd part (memorial) reproduces metropolitan Manuil (Lemeshevskiy) cell furniture. The central part of the cell is occupied by the card - index of Bibliographic referency for his major work "Biographic ductionary of Russian Orthodox Church bishops, archoishops and metropolitans sine the Christening of Russia till the 50-s of the XX-th century. The third part of the layout demonstrates church art and masterpieces by local icon-painting schools. The exposed materials allow our museum to organize scientific and educational work for high school and Universuty students
