Description:

Сhaikosky State House-Museum, the oldest one in Russia, was founded in 1894. The Museum collection, initiated by Modest Chaikovsky, is one of the biggest nowadays and numbers 200000 units of keeping. In addition to the main composer's fond there are Chaikovsky - Davidovs family fonds, the fonds of famous musicians. The rich archive, valuable musical and literary heredity, and the library were fully preserved. Museum is not only a scientific centre but a Philarmonic Society as well
