Williams Museum of Soil and Agriculture is the largest one of its kind museum in Russian Federation. It exhibits the diversity of soils across the globe from Arctic Ocean to equator. Moreover, its exposition fully reflects the cutting edge research in basis and applied soil and agricultural science.

    The museum displays the comprehensive collection of exhibits related to the different geographical and soil areas of the country, agricultural use and preservation of the soil, geneses and soil change as a result of human factor. The exposition summarizes not only the research data collected by Timiryazev Academy of Agriculture, but also of many other leading agricultural institutions
