Description:

Republican museum of war glory was opened on May 8, 2000 to honor the 55 th anniversary of Victory in Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945. The Museum is located in one of the most picturesque spots of Ufa - Victory Park. Five years later, Museum of 112 th (16 th) Guardes Bashkir Cavalru Division opened in Dyoma district of Ufa and Bashkortostan Republik. The Museum displays the exhibition Bashkortostan in the WW II years reflecting the difficult war years that Bashkir nation survived. Between 2000 and 2009, Republican museum of war glory has welcomed 275 thousand visitors, conducted 3000 excursions, 170 mass actions, created over 25 temporary exhibitions
