Description:

Natural History Museum of Tatarstan is scientific educational institution and the center of information about geological history of Tatarstan, its mineral, fauna and flora, mineral raw material resources.

In first floor halls visitors can receive the main popular knowledge and concepts of astronomy area, to familiarize with a variety of the world of minerals of our planet, to track Earth history from the moment of its origin till an era of end of the Carboniferous Period, to learn, how oil and bitumen, limestone and gypsum, coal and phosphorites are formed and extracted.

Six halls of the second floor are occupied by the paleontologic exposition devoted stories and evolutions of vertebrata, from the moment of emergence of the first fish-shaped to the modern person. Interactive computer blocks can help you to receive additional information
