Description:

The Belovsky historical and ethnographic museum was found on the 12 of March, 1976. The museum settles down in a building constructed till 1917.

The exposition of the museum tells about life of peasants between the XІX-th and the XX-th centuries, national crafts, labor and military valor of citizens . Among exhibits you can see country clothes, instruments of labor of the peasant, his dwelling and subjects of a life, products of national masters, personal belongings of outstanding citizens, things from places of fights of the Great Patriotic War.

Special page in the history of Belovsky area is the Gochevsky archaeological complex - a late medieval castle. It is considered that Rimov-grad the city of Kiev Russia was situated exactly here . Finds from excavation of the ancient settlement presented in an exposition of a museum reveal a secret about life in VIII-XIV centuries
