Alexander Scriabin Memorial Museum was opened on July 17, 1922 in the old mansion located in Arbat Street where one of the greatest composers of the turn of XIX-XX centuries spent the last three years of his life.

    Museum Fund preserves more than 7000 units set in the following collections: letters, personal archive, sheets of music, memoirs, composer`s library, placards and others. In museum is keeping the magnetic-tape archive of Scriabin's compositions performed by the composer and famous musicions. You can see in apartment the memorial things belonging to Alexander Scriabin. Among the most interesting exhibits is the device for light -musical performances (so-called Light Circle), built according to the composer design, his grand piano presented by famous German firm - Bechstein, the concert dress and much more. Original furniture in art-nouveau style, paintings, and various pieces of art help us sense the charm of the Silver Age. Museum became a cross point of history and modern trends of musical art.
