Leninogorskiy regional Museum is the municipal institution which activity is directed on the study and the conservation of history and culture of Leninogorskiy region. The Museum was opened on May 8,1985 as the Museum of the combat glory and the labor glory. This has defined its main themes for the long years. In 2005 the Museum was transformed into the nation museum.

    At present the funds of the Museum count over 10 thousend units, including 9 thousends units of the main fund. The saber of the Civil War, combat awards of six Heroes of the Soviet Union, books published before the Grate October Socialist Revolution, the ethnographic collection of the nationalities living in the region (such as tatar, mordva, chuvash, russian, baptized tatar) are the the pride of the Museum .

    There are three constant expositions in the Museum: Ethnography, Memory hall, The XIXth age.

    One of the main tasks in the Museum is the enlightenment programs. There are popular clubs: "Feat", "Grandmather`s gathering", "Meetings", the cycles "Traditions of the nationalities living in the region", "Meeting with the beautiful"
