Description:

The Bogolubov's library is located in a beautiful mansion and situated in the center of Moscow not far from "Novoslobodskay" and "Mendeleevskay" metro station. The library was named in honor of a seaman and famous seascape painter A.P.Bogolubov (1824-1896) who had owned the mansion in XIX century. After Revolution 1917 the mansion was accommodated to the library. The building of the library is a monument of architecture of XIX century. It was architect-built by Lev Dal (the son of the great Russian lexicographer Vladimir Dal).

There are a lot of different kinds of exhibitions take place in the halls of Bogolubov's library. They are expositions of painting and graphic arts, expositions of books, music publications, photo exhibitions and exhibitions of works of applied art
