The Cossacks museum was organized on 27 of December 2008 on the basis of the khutor Cossacks society " North-Western Kuren" of Ekaterinodar department of KCV by initiave of deputy ataman Mr. Yakbarov A.V. The acting exposition was opened for visitors on April 26, 2011. The opening day was timed to the 20th anniversary of rehabilitation of Cossacks and other repressioned nations.
The aim of the museum's creation was to keep the material culture of the Kuban's Cossacks. But we wish not only to keep historical & cultural heritage of our ancestors, but to tell about them to the younger generation, who knew nothing about the life of our grandfathers. We collected a good deal of domestic appliances: clothers, kitchen accessories, ancient plates and dishes, instruments, church painting, documents & newspapers, telling about Cossacks history from the moment of Kuban peopling till our days. The collections of photos, dated by 1917 year and earlier are of special interest. There we can see Kuban's Cossacks and different historical places of our town and region. Our museums also have several topographic maps of Ekaterinodar and Kuban region
