Museum of Merchants' Everyday Life is situated in the estate previously owned by one of the famous Yepifan merchants - Anton Baibakov. After therevolution his house passed to the state. In different periods a hospital and a pharmacy weresituated there. In the 1990-sRussian government adopted the law on restitution of property to the rightful owner. And Nadezhda Klimova, a descendant of Baibakov, sold the estate to the State Museum-Reserve "Kulikovo Field".

    Homewas of utmost importance in the life of a merchant. And today our guests can get acquainted with the traditional living quarters of a merchant's house.

    It includes dwelling with a living-room, bedroom and study, a trading shop with a cellar, courtyard for household, garden and bathhouse. The estate demonstrates characteristic features of everyday life, family relations, spiritual and material needs of Yepifan merchants. An important role of the exposition is dedicated to trading, which took the basic part in the living of the estate masters.
