Description:

Fire-technical exposition B.I. Konchaeva - the oldest museum in Russia. It's opening was held on June 29, 1957. Since 1994, the exposition bears the name of one of its founder- B.I. Konchaev.

The museum presents the history and modern fire and rescue service. A significant part of the exposition is devoted to the important stages of development of St. Petersburg fire service, founded in 1803 by Emperor Alexander I. Special attention at the exposition is given to the heroism of firefighters and local air defense fighters during World War II. Banner hall presented banners fire departments that keep the memory of the everyday life and fire-fighting exploits. Fire-technical exposition B.I. Konchaeva has the country's largest collection of rare fire equipment
