The municipal cultural institution "Ust-Pristan Regional Studies Museum" refers to the type of regional studies museums where the district's nature, ethnography, history of enterprises, cultural heritage, historical and cultural monuments are studied. The collections of the museum contain everyday life objects, documents, photos, archaeological and technical items. One of the most important directions of work is delivering lectures. Themes of lectures vary very much, from the participation of our fellow-villagers in the wars of the 20th century to the natural riches of or district. Much time is devoted to the study of folk traditions and celebrations. Many folk celebrations are held by the staff of the museum, among them "Maslenitsa", "Easter", "Palm Sunday". Research expeditions are held throughout the district to study the history of its villages, their culture and customs. Research fund work is also held in the museum
