Description:

The Scientific Marine Museum was founded in 1959 at the Atlantic Scientific Research Institute of Marine Fisheries and Oceanography (Atlant NIRO). The Museum has at its disposal the exposition part of 320 units of storage, the scientific stock of marine fauna consists of 20000 units of storage. There are some rare and actually unique ones among them. The exhibits were collected during marine research expeditions in regions of the Atlantic Ocean and the Southeastern Pacific.
