Description:

The Museum is a new natural history museum in the Rassian Far East established in 1994. The research collection was founded more than 30 years ago due to the activity of the staff members of the Institute and contains lagely invetebrates animals and fishes. Among them the most significan zoological collections are those of mollusks, corals and emstaceans from Russian Far East seas, tropical and subtropical areas of the Indian and Pacific Oceans. The exhibition shows the history of marine biology and diversity of marine organisms and environments in different geographical zones.
