Description:

The museum is situated in the village of Cheremshan. N.Frolov is the director of this museum. The museum was created in 1980. In an exposition materials about the revolution and the civil war (1917-1921), the collectivization, the Great patriotic war (1941-1945 ), reprisals, the history of colonization of the territory are assembled.

In the museum the information on eight thousand lost and gone during the war, 800 prisoners of war, more than thousand subjects of repressions is gathered. All these people are the natives of Cheremshan region.

Unique are the documents, evidences of repressions (copy), tax documents of the 18 century, of the soviet period, the shooting lists.

The center assists those, who searches for the relatives, restores the rights.
