Description:

The Primorsko-Akhtar Museum of Local History was opened in 1962 and was a public one. In 2002, it received the status of a municipal cultural institution, in 2013 - the status of a municipal autonomous cultural institution. Expositions tell about the corners of nature, paleontology and archeology, the art of the Stone Age, outstanding countrymen, the history and culture of the Kuban Cossacks, merchants. The Museum conducts research and educational activities, participates in the Kuban Museum Festival, international cultural events "Night of Museums", "Night of Arts", "Biblionoch", cooperates with educational institutions and creative collectives
