Description:

Unique sailling icebreaker-museum. The Krassin (Svyatogor) icebreaker built in 1916.completly restored. All

mechanisms and equipment are in the good working state and conform to the normative requirements. The exposition of museum counts 688 exibits, which reflect the history of icebreaker building, participation of the Krassin in the rescue and research expeditions and military operations. The main exposition illustrates the participation of the Krassin in the rescue of Umberto Nobile expedition after the Italy dirigible catastrophe in 1928
