Description:
    The Museum of Chernyshevsky, a prominent writer and public figure, has been existing in Saratov for 78 years already. Nowadays buildings on the territory of the former town estate of the Chernyshevskies-Pypins represent a whole museum complex. The Museum conducts a vigorous cultural, educational and scientific work. Its rich collections include the unique exhibits that reflect the life and activities of N.G.Chernyshevsky in the context of his time. The Museum possesses a number of very interesting collections.

    A team of Museum scientific workers is engaged in working out of the themes connected with the biography and creative work of N.G.Chernyshevsky and promotes his scientific, literary and publicistic legacy
