Art Exhibition hall has been working as one of the branches of Bratsk joint city history museum of mastering Angara River since January 1990. A lot of exhibitions of professional and amateur artists and masters of decorative art of Bratsk and Irkutsk region, children's art exhibitions were organized.

    Since 1993 in Bratsk once a year and since 2002 every two years children's festival "Bratsk Pearl" ("Zhemchuzhina Bratska") is held. The works of the winners are usually exposed in the Hall.

    The works of photographers and the winners of the annual photography competitions are also of ten displayed in the Hall.

    The communication with Rerich Moscow center, "Nikor" gallery, International Association of "The Art of the World", the regional museums and many others gives an opportunity to organize a lot of new interesting exhibitions, which attract visitors.

    In addition to, Art Exhibition Hall takes part in forming museum art collection (it includes now 2 thousand units).

    There are works of Bratsk and Irkutsk artists such as: V. Demyanenko, G. Mamilov, A. Kostovskii, S. Shilin, etc. in this collection. Some graphic works and paintings of Russian and foreign artists were presented by N.I. Kornilov, a well - known Moscow collector.

    Meetings with artists, poets, musicians, masters of decorative arts are very popular with visitors.
