The Gallery of Russian Ice Sculpture' is the year-round exhibition of ice sculptures kept at subzero temperature. Exposition is spaced at 450 square meters and is accompanied with light and music show.
A dozen of the best ice-carvers - winners of international and Russian competitions - took part in the creation of the Gallery. This project has no analog in Russia or abroad and is applied for registration in Guinness world records. More than 90 tons of crystal ice were specially produced from spring water for this museum of ice. The well-known interior designers and decorators took part in interior decoration and custom tailoring of special insulating gowns for the visitors.
Ice exposition is inspired by the best patterns of Russian national culture from historical Ice House of Anna Ioannovna, Empress of Russia to literary characters of tales by Alexander Pushkin and Peter Ershov as well as writer of fables Ivan Krylov. Thus it is of great interest for wide range of visitors from school children to foreign tourists.
The Gallery of Russian Ice Sculpture' is located in the picturesque park "Krasnaya Pressnya" in the business and cultural center of the Russian capital and in the walking distance from metro stations and other transport systems.
Visitors are provided with special insulating gowns and still photography and video filming are allowed for free
