Description:

The museum was opened in 1974 . It has a historical department and Art one. The Art department is represented by works of painting and drawing, from the fortles up to the eighties. It has works by I. Glazunov, D.Nalbandyan, A. Tkachov, e. Zverkov. A. Labas, A. Pakhomov,K.Kupetsio and others. The historical department deseribes the history of our town from 1853 up-to-date. The Kurganinsk are filming of the wellknown film "The Kuban Cossacks" took place in 1949
