The museum of a history of theatres of Dagestan is created in 1984 and reflects a history of standing of a young theatrical art of republic. Its formation began in XX century and proceeds today, you see the traditional culture of multinational Dagestan had no in the past of the theatre. In it is an originality of a museum showing an alive history, developing on our eyes: There are ten professional theatres today in our republic. The oldes of them are Russian-Dramatic and Kumik musical-dramatic theatres was founded in the beginning XX century, later appear Avar, Dargin, Lack and Lesgin musical-dramatic theatres.
