Description:

The ancient Bilyar the Russian chonicles named it "The Ereat town's" situated in the pictures place in the valley of the rwer Malry Cherem shan. This town belongs to those towns of the meduval Europe in the history of which reffelected destinies of whole peoples and States. Its past indissolubly connected witch the maduval tatar history.

In past Bilyar was enormus and densely populated town. The ruins of ancient walls in the form of swollen and moats remoined there. The fortifications of this old settlement limit the territory and durde it into two parst: inside - town and external - town. The inside town with inhabited area 116 h. is enclosed with two rous of ramparts and moats for the space of five km. The space of external town surrounded by three rows of fortifications 10 km. length constitutes 37 u h. Volga Bulgaria iw 1236 the citywas.
