Ingush state Museum of study of local lore of a name of Tugan Mal'sagov traces its history from the Nazran Museum of Battle and labour glory opened 1972, veterans and invalids of the great Patriotic War Tughan Hadjimichalakis Malsagova. On the basis of the materials collected artifacts and documents about the participation of the people in world war II.

    After the formation of the Republic of Ingushetia 1993 the Museum was transformed into the Ingush state Museum of study of local lore them. T. Mal'sagov. Thanks to Tugan Malsagova saved the Museum's collection of archaeological, ethnographic, artistic, historical and cultural components of national wealth of the people of the Republic of Ingushetia. Invaluable assistance in the formation and development of the Museum was provided by the Ministry of culture of the Russian Federation. Today the Museum funds are replenished through participation and support of the head of Republic of Ingushetia. The Museum has several exhibits on the history from ancient times to the present
