Description:
The building of the State Academical Musical Theter for Children in Moscow's Vernadsky Avenue is not like any other theatrical building. "The 8th Wonder of the World" is what people sometimes call this unique theater - the one blessed by the the Blue Bird hapinnes sitting on a harp - the Theater's emblem. A specious room making the Theater's upper foyuer is the sculpture hall which shows little shepherd Lel blowing his pipe, old Boyan The Psaltery Player running his fingers over the psaltery strings and Orpheus playing his kithara. Just look at the incredible "Giant Palekh casket": you won't see a large lacquered wall panels anywhere else in the world. The casket is a music room! The wall panels show scenes from Glinko's ""Ruslan and Lyudmila", ""The Snow Maiden" by Rimsky-Korsakov, Mozart's "The Magic Flute", W. Shakespeare's "Romeo and Juliet"...
