The museum is located un the administrative building with check points and keeps the documents, models, product samples and other exhibits, which relating to the history of establishment of the Hooper plant (since 1847), then the Mikhelson plant (since 1916), then the Vladimir Ilyich plant (since 1922), presently ZVI Public Joint Stock Company. The plant is used to produce the steam power machines, castings, in 1916 was developed shell production, on this production line was produced first missiles namely "Katyusha", since 1947 the plant have been manufacturing the range of the electromechanical products and electric motors.

    At present time the plant produced the range of the modern stationary household cookers and electric motors.
