Description:

First exhibition in the Theatre library (now RSLA) washeld in the day, when the library was opened - 22 May 1922. Russian Sate Art Library has an exhibition hall since 1987. It holds art, book and complex exhibitions that acquaint visitors with unique materials about theatre, fine arts and other types of art. First of all that is the rich library fund are exposed, but also privet collectors and other cultural departments also share their funds with the library.

Since 201 in the RSALs Blue hall orchestra musicians give concerts of classical music every month.

In 2010 Readers Museum was opened in RSAL, it has no analogs in the world. Once a year it's e[position is changed. In 2013 exhibition "Library and The Bolshoy Theatre" was opened there. It shows how the library helps artistic people to make their works of art
