The Museum of Khabarovsk history was opened May 31, 2004 year, when the front of the House of Culture Works "Dalenergomash" opening ceremony of the new museum, "Khabarovsk City History Museum". It was prepared rooms less than six months, the exhibits begun to work on creating the first exposures.

    After reconstruction, in October 2011, the Palace of Culture and renovation of the museum was opened. The museum has ten exhibition halls and restoration funds. It was created seven new exhibits Children's Museum Center. It was organized more than 50 exhibitions by the small team within three years. The museum significantly replenished.
