Description:

Salsk Art Gallery was named after V. Nechitaylo. The art gallery in Salsk is the only state-supported museum in the south-east of Rostov region. The pieces of modern art based on the Russian academic school attract the viewers by their lucid forms and subjects. The collection contains the works of art of the period from the 30th to the 90th. The period of socialist realism is represented with the works by V. Nechitaylo, V. Tsyplakov, O. Komov. The collection of 30 works devoted to A. Pushkin includes 14 items of graphic art by the famous artist E. Ustinov from Moscow.
