Description:
    State Memorial Historical-Literary and Natural-Landscape Museum-Reserve of A.S. Pushkin "Mikhailovskoye" (Pushkin museum-reserve) originates its history from 1899 and it is a scientific research and educational state institution, a curator of the memorials of nature, history and culture. Museum-Reserve "Mikhailovskoye", according to the decree of the President of Russia, was included into the code of the most valuable objects of Russian cultural heritage.

    Pushkin museum-reserve is situated on the North-West of Russia, in Pskov area. On the territory of more than 10000 hectares there are a lot of memorials of history and culture (5-19 century), memorial estates (18-19 centuries), connected with the name and creative activity of Alexander Pushkin.

    The main treasures of the national and world culture, preserved in Pushkin museum-reserve, are not only the memorial things that belonged to Alexander Pushkin, his relatives and friends. The most unique survival in what is now the museum-reserve are the natural surroundings: rivers and lakes, poetic landscape, provincial parks.
