Description:
The structure of the Dubyonky Local Lore Museum's permanent exhibition consists of thematically dedicated complexes.

Visitors start acquaintance with the local history in the archeology section which displays objects dating back to the Stone, Bronze and Iron Ages (hillforts Osh Pando, Blyudo and others). Special attention is devoted to artefacts found by the well-known researcher P. D. Stepanov who made excavations in the territory of Dubyonki District for several years.

The next section of the exhibition represents a maquette of a 19th c. izba (log cabin), with its interior and inhabitants occupied with traditional peasant handicrafts: making lapti (bast shoes) and spinning.

The exhibition also displays materials about the peasant wars under the leadership of Stepan Razin (1670) and Emelyan Pugachev (1773 to 1775) which raged in Volga Region. One of the sections tells story about monuments of church architecture
