Charyshsky regional museum of local lore has historical-ethnographic specializations. Museum funds already gather not one decade. The museum is located in an ancient private residence, the former merchant wing and the building already serves people more than 130 years. In a museum there are constant expositions: ethnographic, archaeological, wars of 20 centuries, nature halls. For attraction of tourists in a museum the exhibition -sale of souvenir production is created.

    In museum store rooms it is stored to 5.5 thousand the various exhibits telling about culture, a life, history of our area and edge.

    Employees of a museum actively participate in the archaeological expeditions spent by high schools in territory of our area. Following the results of researches the part of archeological finds is transferred in our museum.

    The most significant collection of a museum-it's ethnographic and historical -household. Materials about national crafts and crafts, documentary photographs and printing editions since 20-s years of 20 centuries are collected.

    The collection of exhibits of a traditional Cossack's life is especially popular among visitors of a museum. The village Charyshskoye has been based on Cossack's strengthened line in 18 century. The collection of minerals and area minerals are interesting too. Children are always glad to visit a nature hall. Last years the Charyshsky area gets the increasing popularity among tourists.
