"The museum of history" is the Municipal culture establishment of ZATO Siberskiy in Altay territory . It is the legal body.

    Its occupied premises are rented in the elementary school and the culture house "Kristall". The area of the rented premises makes 130 square metres.

    It consists of: the exposition hall (The elementary school), the showroom (CH "Kristall"), the subsidiary premise (The elementary school).

    All necessary standard documents are developed.

    The museum works in three directions: Division history, Small town history, History of Altay territory.

    The museum is claimed by teachers of elementary and average schools, a military school, military men of urgent service. It involves a variety educational and leasure programs, for which carrying out the exposition material is used.

    We use mobile exhibitions from edge museums, from private collections of Altay and local artists and masters. We take part in all significant actions spending in the country, in Altay edge, in our town Employees skilfully use such methodical receptions as staging elements, an art word, folk - game and other entertaining moments.

    All actions are spent for various categories of visitors and taking into account their age and interests.

    In 2008 year 7 exhibitions were organised, 12 thematic lectures were developed, 11 actions and 10 individual consultations were spent. 4918 persons visited the museum, from them 3450 children.
