    The main exhibits of the Museum are worlds' famous rock engravings, created by primitive men. Rock engravings belong to a unique cultural and historical treasure of Nothern Europe. The most well-known groups of petrogliphs are "Devil's traces" and "Zalavruga". There is an archaeological collection of implements of labour made of stone and metal. There is also a very rich ethnographical division, which tells about material and spiritual culture of its aborigines - pomors. There is the exhibition called "Sea culture of pomors", where one can find different things of everyday necessities of life of the people who had been living on the coast of the White Sea
