Description:

In 1893 Islam Krymshamhalov (1864-1910)-karachay the artist, the poet and the musician , has constructed the house in a picturesque place of Teberdа, nearby from mountain lake the Black-lake. Artist N.Jaroshenko, poet K.Hetagurov, composer Taneev and many other figures of domestic culture of boundary ХIХ-ХХ were centuries frequent visitors of Krymshamhalov.

Now in the house of Krymshamhalova the museum of history of mountaineering and tourism in which having a rest and tourists can get acquainted with interesting pages of cultural life of Karachaevo-Circassia on boundary ХIХ-ХХ centuries and with tourism and mountaineering development on the Central caucasus is arranged
