Description:

The Birsk Local Museum was first founded in 1926 and existed up to 1932. It was reopended in 1963 and functioned with intervals. as a non-state organization. Since Oktober 1, 1990 it has become a town local Museum. Since Yanuary 1, 1991 it has been inclyded into the next of the state Museums of Bashkiria. The Museum's exhibits represent the history, everyday life and culture of one of the first towns of Bashkiria, that is Birst, restore the peculiarities of life in a provincial town.
