Slovtsov was the first who has discovered the archeoiogic memorials on Andreevsky lake banks in 1883. The archaeological museum was built in 1983 and is located 30 kilometers from the city of Tyumen and tells about the first settlers of Siberia who came here from behind the Ural Mountains. Virgin civilizations left a huge mark on the vastness of this place. On the territory of the museum there are archaeological monuments, fortified settlements, remains of small towns from the Stone Age to the Middle Ages, the building of the permanent archaeological exposition “From the depth of ages”, art objects, interactive platforms, thematic open-air exhibitions “Andreevsky Lakes Village”, “The Open Chum”, "World of ancient cultures".
