Tara's history Museum is one of the oldest museum of our region. Th Museum was opened in 1932. Vaganov A.V. was the first director. The museum's building was made of bricks before the revolution in 1917. The tradesmen Volkovs have got this building as a trade-house. The exhibits "Animal's and vegetation's world of Tara's district" is one the ground floor of the museum's building. The exhibits represent the northern forests, the lakes and marshes near the Шкеныр river. The part "The Tara'a history from 1854 to 1917" represent the materials and exhibits about the founder Yermak of Sibiria. The other part represent the first field in the Tara's province and Omsk region, Decemberists, the oldest industry, about tradesmen. Especially interesting for our visitors are the furniture of farmers and tradesmen houses, the collection of coins, the plan the oldest fortress of Tara
